SPE Conference in Denver, much different than Dallas, still an important experince and yes a good experience. Note the arrow through my head, part of the Rocky Mountain High!
CAA conference with David Horton in February. I have to say this was an important experience for me. A good experience too!

Cultural Report selections
Think about the periods and places in history that you want to report on.

Every semester I assign my Art 101 students to try their hand at street art, they expolre the history, look at Keith Haring, (Modern day cave drawings) and then after being instucted not to vandalize anyone's property I let them loose on the community. I even offer the use of my chalk, my driveway and my camera. Here are some results:

I think if I have been gifted with anything it is access. I have been allowed or permitted to see a lot of things that a lot of people never get to see. I have on occasion had a front row ticket to the greatest show on hearth – the human condition. So I look at one of my gifts as opportubnity, ascess to places and more importantly people or aspects of those people that not everyone sometimes anyone get to see.
I’m told I have an ability to get what I am looking for. If That is a gift, I’ll take it.
I can usually communicate with just about everyone, that’s more of an acquired skill than a gift. I can see and even dream in black & white. Oh, and did I mention I can fly?
